Overview

Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is adding a Primary Care Physician to the group at NYC Health + Hospitals/South Brooklyn Health. The former Coney Island Hospital is now a modern health care campus redesigned to serve all of South Brooklyn and neighboring communities. Our spacious new Health & Wellness Institute offers a full array of outpatient services—from primary and preventive care to specialty services for children and adults—all designed to keep our community healthy.

 

Accomodating more than 250,000 outpatient visits, and more than 15,000 inpatient admissions annually. The hospital maintains a strong academic affiliation with SUNY Downstate Medical Center and NYIT College Of Osteopathic Medicine in order to maintain its high standards of healthcare delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Primary Care Physician needed to attend to underserved patient population 
  • Academic position which includes teaching residents and fellows 
  • Teaching position where day is split between direct patient care and precepting housestaff of faculty 
  • Clinical support staff on-site (Pharmacist, Community Health Workers, Dietician, Social Workers)
  • Robust analytic support from Office of Ambulatory Care & Population Health
  • Access provided to NYC Health + Hospitals Quality Academy training for emerging leaders

Qualifications

  • Board Certifcation or Board Eligibility in Internal Medicine
