Overview

Employed by PAGNY for NYC Health + Hospitals/Kings County, Kings County Hospital operates a world-renowned Level 1 Trauma Center, one of only three in Brooklyn, which serves 2.6 million residents of Brooklyn and Staten Island. The hospital is academically affiliated with SUNY Downstate Medical Center and trains their medical students and residents.

Responsibilities

The provider will assist in the day-to-day operations of the division of Interventional Radiology and will assist in the running of the interventional radiology fellowship program.

 

All procedures as outlined by the division of interventional radiology including but not limited to:

  • Biopsies
  • Drainages
  • Vascular procedures+
  • Biliary procedures
  • Oncologic procedures
  • Port and catheter placements
  • Placement of percutaneous gastrostomy tubes
  • Intravascular clot lysis
  • Running of the interventional radiology fellowship program
  • Call responsibility at Kings County

Qualifications

    • Board Certified in Interventional Radiology qualified by the American Board of Radiology
    • Current and unrestricted New York State license 
    • Current DEA Registration
