Responsibilities

Staff Physical Therapist

 

Join a team of dedicated, talented and dynamic Physical Therapist. PAGNY is seeking a creative, hardworking and nurturing Physical Therapist interested in working in a community hospital setting. This is a great setting to develop professionally and explore different areas of practice.  The staff Physical Therapist will have an opportunity to rotate through acute care, outpatient and acute inpatient rehabilitation.

There is a diverse range of programs and clinical specialties, including orthopedics, neurology, pediatrics, vestibular, cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation. The physical therapists works in collaboration with other rehabilitation specialists including Physiatrists, OT, SLP, Rehabilitation RN and Psychologist, in order to provide the highest quality of patient care.  We are affiliated with New York Medical College PM&R residency program and have clinical affiliations with multiple Physical Therapy programs in the tristate area.

 

New graduates interested in working in practicing in an urban environment are encouraged to apply for this position. The setting provides a strong mentorship program with experience and caring mentors.

Qualifications

  • Unrestricted NYS Licensed Physical Therapist
  • Communicates effectively in professional oral, written and  computer language, and is basically computer and Internet literate.
  • Is committed to continued professional growth.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with all ages.
  • In hospital experience an advantage. 
  • Experience with trauma, and stroke patients is an advantage.
  • New graduates will be considered.

 

This is an 1199 union position. Benefits will come from 1199. 

 

Salary - Minimum: $90,144.19 - Maximum: $107,145.84
