Overview

Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) has an OB/GYN Generalist with a Minimally Invasive Gynecology Surgery Focus opportunity with NYC Health + Hospitals/Harlem.  Harlem Hospital is located on 135th Street in Manhattan and has been certified as a Baby-Friendly hospital by the World Health Organization.  This is a 272-bed Trauma Center with 24-hour OBGYN Anesthesia, a 17-bed inpatient unit, plus 5 Triage beds. Harlem Hospital features a da Vinci Robot and a full GYN service, which includes minimally invasive gynecologic surgery, urogynecology, an active robotic surgical service, and a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.  On average, the OBGYN service has 800 births annually. The hospital maintains an academic affiliation with Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care
  • Significant focus on performing minimally invasive surgical procedures, including laparoscopic and robotic surgeries
  • Daily availability for OR

  • 40-hour work week
  • Minimal Call duties optional and will be compensated above salary
  • May assist in back up coverage

Qualifications

  • Board Certified or Eligible in General Obstetrics & Gynecology
  • Fellowship in Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery, preferred
  • Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery Focused Practice Designation, preferred
  • Advanced Laparoscopy skills, preferred
  • Robotic Surgery experience, preferred
  • Minimum 6-8 years’ post-residency experience, required

  • Annual salary = $315,000 Board Eligible / $325,000 Board Certified status - The salary listed is for full-time employment and does not include any incentive compensation, additional call pay, or benefits.
