OB/GYN - Generalist

Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) has an OBGYN Generalist opportunity at NYC Health + Hospitals/Metropolitan.  Metropolitan Hospital is a community hospital located in East Harlem and has been certified as a Baby-Friendly hospital by the World Health Organization.  The Staff is comprised of full-time faculty OBGYN Generalists, as well as subspecialists, including Urogynecologists and Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgeons.  Metropolitan Hospital features a Level III NICU, 24-hour in-house Anesthesia, state-of-the-art Labor and Delivery suites, a dedicated Postpartum pavilion, and a AIUM certified ultrasound unit.  On average, the OBGYN service has 900 live births annually.  The hospital maintains an academic affiliation with New York Medical College.

Wages and Benefits include:

Annual Base Salary: $260,000* (board eligible); $270,000* (board certified) based on 35-hour work week. Additional compensation available for extra call or sessional/per diem hours.

The annual total value of compensation package is estimated at $393,600** (board eligible) and $404,600** (board certified), which includes the baseline salary, 401(k) contribution, sessional/per diem hours, and other factors as set forth below:

• Estimated annual compensation for 10 additional sessional/per diem hours worked per week is $67,600***.
• Projected bonus of up to $40,000 (based on previous year’s average), contingent upon meeting quality and productivity targets.
• 401(k) Company Contribution (subject to IRS contribution limits):
  • Employees are immediately vested in a 3% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required.
  • After one year of service, employees receive an additional 7% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required.
• Annual Continuing Medical Education (CME) Reimbursement.
