Lincoln Medical & Mental Health Center, located just 15 minutes from NYC, is an acute care teaching hospital academically affiliated with Weill-Cornell Medical College.  Dedicated to providing high quality patient care to a diverse community, Lincoln Hospital is a NYS designated Level I Trauma and Stroke Center and has Centers of Excellence in all medical specialties including its awarding winning Cancer and Breast Centers.


Lincoln Medical Center is part of the Generations+/Northern Manhattan Health Network and the network's Bronx Diagnostic and Treatment Centers, Morrisania and Segundo Ruiz Belvis, are affiliated specifically with Lincoln. Community residents who live in the Bronx communities of Highbridge, Hunts Point and Mott Haven can receive comprehensive quality healthcare services at both Morrisania and Segundo Ruiz Belvis.


Segundo Ruiz Belvis is currently accepting applications for a Primary Care Physician.


The Primary Care Physician  will report to the Medical Director and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Provide overall direction and leadership to the Department Adult Medicine and Specialty Services with regard to its service, teaching and research missions
  • Chair the IM and Specialty Services meetings
  • Participate in Quality Initiatives
  • Evaluate and manage the department's staffing, capital needs and budget
  • supervision of physician assistants
  • supervision of nurse practitioners


*Primary care clinicians can get up to $50,000 to repay their health profession student loans in exchange for a two-year commitment to work at an approved National Health Service Corp (NHSC) site in a high-need, underserved area.  Please inquire within.


  • Graduate from an approved medical school
  • Completion of an approved residency and board certification in Internal Medicine
  • Licensed to practice in New York State

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Spanish speaking preferred.
  • Administrative/Leadership experience preferred.
