Responsibilities

We are currently seeking an Advanced Gastroenterologist to join our team at Metropolitan Hospital in NYC. 

 

The full-time attending will receive an academic appointment as an Assistant Professor of Medicine at New York Medical College.  Responsibilities include training GI fellows, Internal Medicine residents and medical students, as well as direct patient care. The Endoscopy Unit currently performs more than 3,000 procedures a year, and expansion plans are underway.  Procedures include standard endoscopies and colonoscopies, EUS/FNA, therapeutic ERCP, capsule endoscopy and motility and pH studies. Opportunities for research and career development are included!

Qualifications

  • Attending must be Board Certified in Internal Medicine/ and BE/BC in Gastroenterology
  • NYS license in good standing
  • ERCP/ EUS
