General Overview:


Assures that patient records are kept in good order and minimize loose paper.  Ensures the daily completion of assigned tasks of the Medical Records staff to specific facility.




  • Assists H.S.A. in preparing monthly Clerical Schedule
  • Assigns and reviews work assignments on a daily basis
  • Be proactive in making necessary changes in the Medical Records area to ensure efficient operation of the department
  • Assists staff with general clerical assignments
  • Assures that all charts are available to authorized outside agencies
  • Performs relevant additional duties as assigned by the Deputy and/or Director of the Medical Records Department


  • Minimum five years' experience as a Medical Records Clerk or equivalent experience
  • Exhibits a satisfactory work record for previous years of experience
  • Available to work weekends if necessary
