    Home Crest Health Clinic located in Southern Brooklyn, is one of Gotham Health's Neighborhood Health Centers, Gotham is the country's largest Federally Qualified Health Center operating clinics acrss the five boroughs of NYC and offers patient centered Primary and Preventive Care Services for the entire family focused on meeting community needs.

     

    Responsibilities

    Home Crest Clinic is currently in need of a Family Medicine Physician to work in the ambulatory care department.  The ideal candidate will be responsible for:

    • Examines patients, orders or performs appropriate therapeutic treatment and counsels patients
    • Provides guidance and participates in the teaching of house staff, in staff conferences, and in research projects as directed
    • Participates in medical research
    • Prepares daily work log as required
    • 100% ambulatory and may involve working with a PA
    • may involve precepting
    • no inpatient rounds required

     

    Qualifications

    • Graduate of an approved medical school
    • Possession of a valid license to practice in New York State
    • Current Board Certification issued by the appropriate American Specialty Board
    • Five years of full-time licensed experience as a physician practicing general medicine acceptable to the Medical Board of the hospital
    • Residency trained Family Medicine MUST be board eligible or board certified.
