In partnership with NYC Health + Hospitals/Metropolitan our teams provide care for over 313,000 outpatient visits, nearly 70,000 emergency room visits and more than 13,000 inpatient admissions annually. The hospital maintains an academic affiliation with New York Medical College.


  • Demonstrates knowledge of the Privacy and Security rules outlined in the HIPAA guidelines.
  • Successfully completes the mandatory three day HHC orientation.
  • Adheres and conforms to all hospital and departmental guidelines, policies and procedures.
  • Administrative functions i.e answers emails, phone, files, set up meetings make copies etc.
  • Schedules department's orientation.
  • Set up laptop, computer, projector.
  • Student orientation, paperwork, set up for Quadramed training
  • Student schedule on the unit, oral schedule, paperwork for their evaluations, orals mid-core evaluations, attendance sheet.
  • Process reimbursements for the residents.
  • Coordinate luncheons for the residents, meetings, research meetings.
  • Cleaning after the residents.
  • Getting the keys for all residents and students and new attending's.
  • Writing letters for residents, and recommendation letters for the Physicians.
  • Scheduling all new applicant interviews.
  • Faculty appointment renewal.
  • Graduation setup, making and printing all announcement and invitations.
  • New innovation trainings for residents and Physicians.
  • Updating all state programs, i.e ACGME, AADPRT, GME etc.
  • Proxy the exam for the state.
  • Ensures that all credentials are updated for residents.


  • High School graduate or equivalent
  • Computer literate in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, Powerpoint)
