    North Central Bronx is in need of an Infectious Disease Physician.

    Responsibilities

     

    We seek a full time physician for an academic position in Infectious Diseases at a large inner city hospital in the Bronx, NY associated with Albert Einstein College of Medicine, at the Assistant Professor level.  Candidates should be Internal Medicine board-certified and Infectious Diseases Board eligible/certified with an active or pending NYS license.  The candidate will be responsible for outpatient HIV care, pre-exposure and post-exposure prophylaxis for individuals at risk for HIV and inpatient Infectious Diseases consultation in a modern facility with an award-winning setting of HIV co-located team care.  As a teaching program, the candidate will actively teach medical students, housestaff and ID fellows and have opportunities to participate in groundbreaking investigation.
