    In partnership with NYC Health + Hospitals/Coney Island our teams accommodate more than 250,000 outpatient visits, more than 89,000 emergency room visits, and with 371 beds, more than 15,000 inpatient admissions annually. The hospital maintains a strong academic affiliation with SUNY Downstate Medical Center and New York College of Osteopathic Medicine in order to maintain its high standards of healthcare delivery.


    • Inpatient consultation, outpatient consultation and ongoing care, teaching of IM residents and medical students
    • Supervise IM residents
    • Liaison to Infection Control Service
    • Supervise planned outpatient antibiotic infusion program
    • Assist in expansion of consultation service to all patients with positive blood and body fluid bacterial cultures




    • Experience in infectious control and antibiotic Stewardship
    • Teaching experience
    • Academic positivity a PLUS
    • Interest in outpatient administration of IV Antibiotics


    • Board Certified/Eligible (within 5 yrs of training)-ID
    • Board Certified/Eligible (within 5 yrs of training)-IM
    • NYS License, unrestricted DEA, BLS
