    In partnership with NYC Health + Hospitals/Jacobi our teams accommodate more than 325,000 outpatient visits, more than 100,000 emergency room visits and more than 20,000 inpatient admissions annually. NYC Health + Hospitals/Jacobi is renowned for The Trauma Center, staffed to treat any traumatic injury or illness, the fully accredited Breast Health Center, and The Burn Center, with more than 40 years of work in burn care. The hospital also serves patients of many other needs. The hospital maintains an academic affiliation with Albert Einstein Medical College of Yeshiva University.


    • Direct supervision of Attending Physician and other staff
    • Overseeing the delivery of high quality, evidence-based care and directly working with leaders in the other areas of the department
    • Assuming an important role in patient Safety and Clinical Effectiveness
    • Providing leadership in undergraduate medical education including active participation in the clinical and didactic teaching of medical students, PA students
    • Incident review management and participation in departmental IR meetings
    • Reviewing/revising guidelines for standards of care ensuring it meets the DOH, CMS, Joint Commission standards and regulations



    • Possession of a valid license to practise in New York State
    • ABMS Board Certification
    • 5+ years experience in OB/GYN
    • Leadership experience preferred
    • Fellowship training or commensurate experience in minimally invasive surgery or Urogynecogy
