    In partnership with NYC Health + Hospitals/Metropolitan our teams provide care for over 313,000 outpatient visits, nearly 70,000 emergency room visits and more than 13,000 inpatient admissions annually. The hospital maintains an academic affiliation with New York Medical College.

     

    Responsibilities

    The Pulmonary & Critical Care Medicine Division of Metropolitan Hospital Medical Center in NYC, a major teaching affiliate of the New York Medical College, seeks an academically oriented, clinically adept pulmonologist/intensivist ( PCCM) to join its full-time staff.

     

    Metropolitan Hospital Center supports a very robust Internal Medicine residency training program and serves as a major clinical site for NY Medical College PCCM fellowship trainees and other Medicine subspecialty fellowships.  The position affords a challenging variety of rotations through the MICU, an inpatient consultation service and an active outpatient program. During MICU rotations, the physician along with fellow will take night call at home.

The successful candidate will be eligible to apply for a faculty position at the New York Medical College.  

     

    Qualified candidates must already have completed a Fellowship in either Pulmonary/ Critical Care or Critical Care and be BC/BE.
